We have had a fantastic time on our outdoor education day.
To get to the place we were going to abseil we had to walk along cliffs.
It seemed a really high cliff!
We had to lean back into the harness.
We all managed it!
When were at the bottom we got a really good look at the cliffs.
Our instructor was called Mossy.
The black rope was our safety rope.

We had to think about where we put our feet.
We all really enjoyed it.
We all wanted another go.
We had to wear safety equipment
Because of the wind we used canoes instead of kayaks.
We had to really listen to our instructor.
Sometimes we went the wrong way!
Then we played 'simon says' in the canoes.
We had to do all sorts of strange things!
We had bouyancy aids.
We did get a little bit wet!

We had helmets and harnesses.
Mossy encouraged us down the slope.
He taught us to lean back.
Thank goodness the sunshine held!
It seemed a long way down!
When we got to the top again we got a round of applause.
