This week started making
our Orkney rap by looking for lots of adjectives and
verbs which could describe Orkney.
We looked through lots
of brochures for ideas.
We tested our
multiplication packs in class before taking them
home.
We chose a times table
to practise.
We then tried to
remember them as quickly as possible.
Out talking partners
helped us practise.
In maths we practised
making our own Venn diagrams. This one showed who had
a pet and who liked milk shake (and of course who has
a pet and likes milk shake!
We had a lot of fun
learning how to storyboard. We tested our storyboard
by filming it (in 45 minutes!). We chose to
storyboard and film part of the story of St
Magnus.
School dinners is often
a time we enjoy catching up with friends.
We had a treat on
Thursday. Mrs Hancock is starring in Holmamia and
offered to spend the last five minutes of the day
teaching us the dance routine she will be
performing.
